What we are about

Project Help is a group of students and teachers who want to make a difference in the world. Each year we raise money to build community projects in the developing world. We also contribute to the local community by performing local community service projects.

Project Help started out five years ago with fourteen students and two teachers from Mount Sentinel Secondary, a small rural school located in the Slocan Valley in rural British Columbia. We have grown to include thirty students, teachers, administrators, community members, and parents.

For the past five years we have gone to Tijuana Mexico to build homes and work in orphanages.

This experience is a life-changing experience for everyone involved, and we welcome the opportunity to share our experiences with others. We hope that others will be inspired to become active in the quest for a more just world.
We go to Latin America over spring break and work throughout the rest of the year on local projects.
