What we do We have just completed our third year as an organization and have: 1. Built a picnic shelter in Bonnington Park; 2. Worked on Rails-to-Trails right of ways; 3. Picked up litter on the highways leading to Mt. Sentinel School; 4. Planted trees along the Slocan River in order to promote habitat restoration; 5. Weeded gardens in Lakeside Park; 6. Presented a play about our experiences at the Peace Conference at the Brilliant Cultural Centre; 7. Presented workshops and a theatre production to several local schools, youth groups, and community organizations; 8. Built 5 houses in Tijuana Mexico; 9. Presented workshops on woodworking and drama to children in Mexico; 10. Made plaques for the Nelson Music Festival; 11. Re-roofed a drug treatment centre in Tijuana; 12. Presented workshops at an orphanage in Ensenada. 13. Built Bus Stop Shelters for the Slocan Valley. Las familias
