Gallery Rental
Loretta Goodwin Gallery is a 7,000 square foot space with painted concrete floors, 2 galleries, brick room, private courtyard and separate section for a bar. The space is perfect for intimate gatherings up to 125 people and can accommodate two buffet tables, cafe tables or reception style gathering.
Rental Details
$850 for weekday rentals (6-10pm)
$1000 for Friday & Saturday rentals (-11pm)
*Upon booking, 25% of rental fee is due. Remaining balance is due 30 days before rental date. If space is rented within 30 days of rental date, 50% of the balance is due at the time of contract and the remaining 50% due one week before the event.
Cleanup
Event hosts and planners must clean up all tables, tablecloths, food, trays, trash and any other material that was brought by host or event staff. Or an additional $75 clean up fee will be applied.
Hours of Operation
The renter should know that gallery closing time is 11:00 PM, that is when all cleanup must be complete and all persons must be out of the building. In the event the renter should need or want to extend these hours, prior approval is required, and an additional fee of $100.00 dollars per hour will be applied.
Parking
Loretta Goodwin Gallery has parking on the premises in the front and use of surrounding lots is available near the building. Valets and/or police officers are suggested for events over 100 people for parking ease. The gallery can provide you a name of a security guard (off duty Birmingham police officer) which we use, at a rate of $100 for a 3 hour event.
Alcohol Consumption
Alcohol may be served at the gallery. Bartenders will be professional and will obey the laws pertaining to the serving of alcoholic beverages.
Event Planner / Caterer Responsibilities
The event planner/caterers working at LGG must have copies of their business licenses, certificates of insurance, and proof of workman's compensation on file with LGG.
On the days that LGG is open, event planner/caterers may not begin setting up until 5:00 p.m. Exceptions will be considered.
Event planner/caterers are responsible for unloading, setting up, and reloading all their goods.
All rented items must leave the gallery the same night as the event to ensure its proper handling unless both parties agree otherwise, and that LGG is not liable for any damages to any equipment not owned by LGG.
Caterers are to provide all necessary tools such as trash bags, can openers, foil, pots, towels, dish detergent, knives, and other supplies necessary to carry out their duties. LGG cannot provide any of the above items.

Framing countertops must be wiped down after event
Equipment
LGG can provide the following equipment for use:
One door refrigerator unit with freezer, no ice maker
One small sink
Microwave
2 - 84” dining room tables (one rectangular and one oval)
Framing area that can be used as a food staging area
Two Bathrooms
House Rules
There can be absolutely nothing hung, nailed, or taped to the walls at LGG without the permission of a gallery representative.
Smoking is not permitted inside the gallery (no exceptions).
No glitter or confetti is allowed on the premises
In the event of any damages occurring to any artwork or to the physical condition of any and all public space within LGG itself, the renter will be held solely responsible and will be billed accordingly. This includes, but is not limited to scratches, nicks, breaks, marks of any kind, or heavy stains on the carpet
