Reel Time, Berceuse, and the Trio in C are listed for the VCE.


Two other works for strings are also listed; they are the Celtic Suite and Fugality. The Celtic Suite which uses the idioms and forms of Scottish dance forms is in four movements.  the VCE requirement is for any one of these.  Fugality uses the compositional devices of the baroque juxtaposed with ‘classical’ jazz styles of the 20th century. The formal structure is that of the concerto grosso.
