First entry
Well, I have long been fascinated by the idea of a blog. On the other hand, I’m not sure I can be consistent enough to make this interesting to anyone who might be reading it. Anyhow, I’ve decided I’m going to try it and see.
Well, as I’m starting this blog, I’ve also been working on other areas of the site--mostly photos--so I thought I’d point those out. I’ve posted some pics of my youngest brother Steve’s H.S. graduation. And I’ve started pages for my nature pics and portraits, so I can share them as I learn and improve at those skills. Nature photography is very therapeutic for me. Portraits are more exciting and fun, though the subject matter is rather unpredictable, which sometimes makes it stressful.
Other than taking lots of pictures (I took about 1200 at Dari and Carole Moreno’s wedding in Orange County the second weekend in June), I’m mostly just hanging out with FFI students and trying to finish our upstairs bathroom in my spare moments. I can’t believe we’re just a week from finishing another summer. I shouldn’t be surprised at how fast summer session goes, because it ALWAYS goes this fast, but I’m ALWAYS surprised.
