The Baseball Youth Dream Park and the Cave Run Muskies Baseball and Softball Organization are both projects conducted by Scott Hacker, Publisher of Baseball Youth, The Nation’s Baseball Magazine For Kids and producer of the Baseball Youth Road Trip FANFEST with Major League Baseball Players Association.


The Baseball Youth Dream Park is nestled near the Daniel Boone National Forest and Cave Run Lake, the area’s big tourism attraction in Eastern Kentucky that draws over million visitors a year. Opened in 2008, youth baseball teams have a chance to play on the newest ballpark for today’s youth. Each year the park will host numerous tournaments, camps, clinics that will bring in teams and players from all over the nation.

The Cave Run Muskies is Eastern Kentucky’s select youth baseball and softball organization based in Morehead, Kentucky. Our 2010 teams consist of 6-Under (T-ball), 8-Under (Coach Pitch), 9-Under, and 10-Under baseball teams, as well as 8-Under, 10-Under, and 12-Under girls softball teams playing all home games are played at Kentucky’s newest youth baseball complex, the Baseball Youth Dream Park next to Cave Run Lake and the Daniel Boone National Forest.

Giving Back to the Community:


Cave Run Muskies supported the Morehead Recreation Little League program by donating over $3,000 worth of brand new Louisville Slugger bats.


Cave Run Muskies supported the Rowan County Middle and High School program by donating over $5,000 worth of Louisville Slugger equipment and bats.


Cave Run Muskies supported the Morehead State Softball Team by donating over $1,500 worth of Louisville Slugger equipment and bats.


And of course, the Cave Run Muskies have already brought in teams from all over different states to play ball, use our restaurants, stay in our hotels, etc. This is priceless!!

TRYOUTS


The Cave Run Muskies are looking for players interested in competing on the highest level on the 6-Under (T-Ball), 8-Under (Coach Pitch), 9-Under, and 10-Under teams for baseball and 8-Under, 10-Under, and 12-Under for softball during the 2010 season. The Muskies feature the best local players from the surrounding areas while playing all home games at the new Baseball Youth Dream Park in Morehead.

NEWS: The 9-Under Muskies 2010 team is looking for one more player to finalize next year’s roster. This player must be a good pitcher and be able to play several other positions. The Muskies will play around 60 games next year, as well as travel to one of nations largest 9-Under tournaments (Triple Crown National Championships) in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
