....on a small island off the west coast of Canada my tiny studio sits snug by the sea. "Virgil" the resident heron fishes in the tidal pool, otters play along the beach, and seals blink as they emerge from waterly depths to visit for the moment, my world.

Oblivious to the hours sliding by while in painting retreat I rest in the music of Andrea Bocelli or Lorenna McKinnett or Tenzing Tsewang.... with paper, pigment, brush, gold foil, oil....my creations unfold as in a dream,  I surrender.
