Stockholm 10´s
It all started in 1993 when 12 teams including Bahrain Warblers, including the Hasting brothers, kicked of the first Stockholm 10´s. Well needless to say they won (despite their “distinctive” shorts.
So the fame of this tournament slowly grew, including some celebrities such as Rob Wainwright (Scotland), Phil de Glanville (England) the following year.
Professional rugby emerged but the teams kept on arriving, South Africa, Latvia etc. Many of the teams are mixed, as most 10´s and Seven teams tend to be. Current Men (2011) champions are Olorun Sharks, Women champions are Moody Cows.
