I am a professional drummer based in the London area, UK and have been playing drums for over 20 years. I was born in Reykjavik, Iceland where I studied at FIH, Iceland’s premier music college, before moving to the UK in 1990.

I received a BA Hons degree in music & sound recording from Salford University in 1997 where I took private lessons with one of UK’s most renowned drum teachers Dave Hassell. While living in Manchester I got involved with the originals band Pablo. We recorded two albums and performed all over the UK including the Rock Garden in Covent Garden and at Party in the Park in front of 53,000 people, just to name a couple. I also did some freelance work while in Manchester including The Commitments and Stars in Their Eyes on ITV. I taught at York University’s Music Department as well as giving private drum lessons.

I worked for a couple of years on the P&O cruise liner Aurora before moving to London and have been working mainly on Musicals since, both on tour and in the West End of London. I also do other freelance work and private drum tuition.
