Founded in 1963, Kymco started life building for Japanese partners, but in the intervening time has become the largest scooter manufacturer in Taiwan.  Exporting to 70+ countries, and being ISO-9001 certified, they have created a strong reputation for quality.

They currently have over 600 US dealers, and a wide range of scooters from the small 50cc class all the way up to the ‘Maxi’ scooter ranges with the Xciting,  and several excellent entries across the board.

The 2006 Scooter Cannonball was one by a Kymco People 250 ridden by Stan Obal, and Kymco had several bikes place in the top 10.
