Cancellation Policy:
Due to an unusual number of folks that book with us and then cancel we’ve had to institute the following cancellation policy.
- Customers who cancel a booking are now subject to a cancellation fee equal to the price of the booking they scheduled with us. This fee is due within five days.
- Customers who cancel and refuse to pay the cancellation fee will be subject to suit in small claims court in the jurisdiction in which they live.
- Customers who cancel and refuse to pay the cancellation fee will also be required to pay the complete cost of filing, service, and adjudication of the small claims case filed against them, including, but not limited to, legal fees and costs, service fees by sheriff’s officers or local police, fuel and automobile costs involved in filing, serving, and adjudicating a small claims case brought against them, and all costs for postal services. Other potential damages due to the cancellation will also be considered as due to us.
It is a great shame that we have to institute this policy. But, this is our living. Too many people think they can destroy that living by booking with us and then just cancel that booking with no consequence. If people kept their word and were honorable, this policy wouldn’t be necessary. But, unfortunately, it is.
