1981 Puma GTC

My 1981 Puma GTC is a factory built Puma that is one of five that were used for emissions testing for import into the U.S. The car features several performance and handling upgrades, including a Sway-A-Way camber stop at the rear, and a Sway-A-Way front anti-roll bar. The front end has been modified with forged 2 inch drop spindles and KYB front shocks, and KYB coil-over shocks in back. The factory Puma motor has dual Webber 40 IDF carburetors with hex-bar linkage, a Bosch 009 distributor and Bosch Blue Coil. An Optima red top battery provides power, and the exhaust system is stock Puma. The shifter is a short-throw “T” shifter, and the shift linkage bushings have been replaced with urethane for greater reliability and improved shifting. The convertible top is custom, and made with Stayfast canvas.
