Like our front yard, life has its way of having things that come up that, despite what we may consider our best efforts, are spoiling the garden. There are difficulties and situations such as sickness or pain, job-losses and house payments that can cloud our outlook.

We can even be aware of things that come up in us that we know don’t belong in our attitudes or character.How do we face these things?  In Colossians 2:6, Paul says
