Seems like reviewers and movie sites had it out for the big budget remake of Poseidon Adventure... no one seemed to think it was worth the time and effort.  What a shame... cause I thought it was fun.  What do people expect??  It did just what it set out to... put you in a life threatening environment and force you to escape with your life.  When I was working on it, we came up with a few ideas for a sequel, including combining disaster films... making the next one in a building that is on fire, and falls over into the ocean where the tenants have to escape by avoiding the fire and water, and of course, the super intelligent sharks that are swimming along the corridors...
