Southerndown to E Nash Buoy: Against Tide
Roger has promised to write this up soon . . . but is still waiting for his coffee to cool down.
We did last weeks trip to Nash East Cardinal Buoy again but this time we headed into the wind and against the tide to give us some exercise, the intention then to have an easy ride back with wind and tide in our favor after exerting ourselves.
Roger had switched to the longer Skye for this trip and found it easier to maintain speed due to its extra 2 feet in length. The extra volume allowed him to carry more coffee and food.
