According to various news outlets, Weather Channel founder John Coleman thinks that the Global Warming frenzy is a scam that has gotten out of hand, and we have nothing to fear:

"In time, a decade or two, the outrageous scam will be obvious," he wrote. "As the temperature rises, polar ice cap melting, coastal flooding and super storm pattern all fail to occur as predicted everyone will come to realize we have been duped. The sky is not falling. And, natural cycles and drifts in climate are as much if not more responsible for any climate changes underway."

I am far from being a scientist, but my gut has always said that the global warming thing is much ado about nothing.  That’s not to say we shouldn’t be responsible stewards of our global resources, but I think Coleman is right in assuring us that the sky is not falling.
