I play keyboards and sing in two area bands, High Definition and First Things First, play solo at many local venues, have a jazz ensemble of my own called The Peter Van Keuren Jazz Group, and am asked to sit in with other musicians every so often.  After many years,  I continue to direct a contemporary choral group,  Joyful Voices, and an instrumental ensemble, Project Praise.  These groups appear at my church, the Burnt Hills United Methodist Church, where I do some of my best work.

One of the toughest things is keeping up with me, so I wanted to provide you with this website as a way to catch me when you can and provide other information on my musical life.  It's always great to see you and I appreciate your support.

You can also purchase my CD of original music, "Closer To Home, "at some area Borders and other local music outlets, on-line at CDBaby.com, by attending one of my performances, or by emailing me. They are $10 a piece. The CD features some of the best musicians in the area.  By clicking on 'Audio Samples' you'll be able to hear a few samples from "Closer To Home."  I'll be issuing a second CD soon.
