I'm glad you stopped by.

I play keyboards and sing in two area bands, High Definition and First Things First, play solo at many local venues, have a jazz ensemble of my own called The Peter Van Keuren Jazz Group, and am asked to sit in with other musicians every so often.  After many years,  I continue to direct a contemporary choral group,  Joyful Voices, and an instrumental ensemble, Project Praise.  These groups appear at my church, the Burnt Hills United Methodist Church, where I do some of my best work.

One of the toughest things is keeping up with me, so I wanted to provide you with this website as a way to catch me when you can and provide other information on my musical life.  It's always great to see you and I appreciate your support.

Click on 'Appearances' to get a current list of where I'll be playing. You can also purchase my CD of original music, "Closer To Home, "at some area Borders and other local music outlets, by attending one of my performances, or by emailing me. They are $10 a piece. The CD features some of the best musicians in the area.  By clicking on 'Audio Samples' you'll be able to hear a few samples from "Closer To Home."  I'll be issuing a second CD soon.
