Workshop Info

Let yourself take flight in the new year... on someone else's feet... or hands... or anything else that can serve as a base!!!  In this introductory workshop, we will allow our practice to soar to new heights through acrobatic-style yoga.  We will open ourselves to a new sense of freedom through partner work, assisted inversion, and basic acrobatics.  Upside-down and right-side up, we will cultivate trust and deep connections, and we will use them to fly.  No experience necessary!  No partner necessary!  Just bring a willingness to let yourself go!

About the Instructors

Mod & Alex Plank have been devoted to each other for over 5 years, and much of that time has been spent doing yoga together.  They began their acrobatic partner practice in 2007, and when they recently got married, their first dance was an acro performance of yogic flying.  Mod & Alex perform as an acro duo, and they have presented their fun skills in various workshops, talent showcases, and private parties.

Arrive between 7:00pm ~ 7:30pm, allowing enough time to prepare your space and socialize!  Please make yourself comfortable by bringing a mat, blanket, and a pillow if you wish, so that you can lay comfortably on the floor.

A Sound Healing Concert & Meditation is a transformational experience with the Sacred Sound of Himalayan Singing Bowls, Tibetan and indigenous instruments, Crystal Quartz Singing Bowls, and interwoven Voice. While you rest comfortably on a mat, you will experience a sonic massage as the resonant sound of harmonic overtones, rhythms and integrated vocals, weaves through and around your body.  As you absorb the waves of vibrational sound energy you will gain a deep sense of relaxation, accelerate energetic healing, spiritual awakening, and immerse yourself in a blissful remembrance of unity with all creation.
