Information Literacy/Research Skills: Students in the 21st century need to be able to recognize a need for information and have the ability to locate, evaluate, and use information in an ethical way. Check out this page for help with all of your research projects.
Online Databases: BEFORE you waste time and energy trying to find quality information on Google, try one of these online databases. You will find what you need faster, and you won’t have to worry about whether or not the information you find is correct.
Student Resources: From college and career links to Internet safety tips, this page is full of tools to help you be safe, improve your grades, and pass those pesky state-mandated tests.
Class Projects: Whenever your teacher works with Mrs. Walker on a class project, Mrs. Walker will prepare a “pathfinder” for your project, with recommended online databases, websites, and books for you to use for that particular assignment.

This camp will provide you with exciting, active, and cooperative experiences that will enhance and improve your writing skills while sparking your creativity. It is sponsored by the Ohio Writing Project of Miami University and run by trained classroom teachers and local authors.
