Sponsored by the San Diego Polymer Clay Guild, Sandy Camp is one retreat everyone should try to attend at least once. Held at lovely Warner Springs Ranch we set up our work areas in a big tent. Demos are set - not too many, not too few, just enough. We were visited nightly by raccoons and sighted a few skunks. A great time was had by all!
Special thanks to Lee and Irene who opened their home to me and shuttled me to and from the airport. You two are the greatest! Thanks too to Ellie and Polly who were my SC roomies and fed me for 5 days.
The auction (opportunity drawing in California) on the last night showcased great work, supplies and even 4 fabulous chenille jackets. I was lucky enough to win one of the jackets generously donated by Lee Kellogg of Santa Fe, NM. Thanks, Lee, I will proudly wear this splendid addition to my wardrobe.
