Welcome to the 8th edition of Dog Artist Podcast! Today our subject is “Clifford the Big Red Titanium Dog” that belongs to Kim & Willie Abrams who reside in Arkansas.
Clifford is a good friend to my dogs Molly & Mookie and
Clifford has been the subject of 2 of my pastels.
One where he posed with Kim and the other on his doggy bed. (Both Pastels are shown here and links are given to see more online.)
Shortly Clifford will undergo a 2nd Surgery for what Willie explains will be Tibial Tuberosity Advancement (TTA) (performed by Dr. Terry Dew) to repair his ruptured cruciate ligament (ACL). The titanium implant stabilizes the knee joint by changing the geometry and physics of the knee enabling it to work without the cruciate ligament.
We hope Clifford will recover quickly so that he and Newborn baby "JAKE" and Kim & Willie can come to GranMa Lori's for Treats!

Mary Ann Griffin drives over 120 miles to bring Rebecca to Dr. Upton, who is one of the few Veterinary Oncologist in this region of the country. Dog Art PodCast #3.5
This is an abbreviated version of video-podcast of #4.
Kathy Taylor the Dog Art Collector and Tulsa Mayoral candidate did win the election and is now Mayor of Tulsa!!
I've been creating Dog Art in Pastel for folks who work for Apple in California. Also I've been working on some large Oils that are not shown in this PodCast. The Main Feature I've included is Sparky's Water Dance Day Dream.
I had some technical problems that I think are now solved. Anyone experiencing difficulties viewing are encouraged to post a comment.
(Please Note that on this Video-PodCast my narration sounds shaky as I’ve been sick.)

Episode #4 of the Dog Art PodCast

A Very Special Celebration Edition of the Dog Art PodCast!!! Kathy Taylor, a collector of Lori’s Art, interviewed in our previous PodCast is now Tulsa, Oklahoma’s new Mayor!!!

Took some time to edit down the sights and sounds from her Watch Party which turned into a Victory Party after many tense hours of awaiting Election return results. The Ball Room was packed with Media and Friends of Lori & Kathy’s. One friend in Particular was Mr. Charles Pulley, owner of the very famous- favorite “Miss Cleo” Oil painting, of the Corgi on the red backdrop displayed on the menu window of my Web Gallery Art Page.
The video also includes excerpts from the watch vigil with Sharon King Davis announcing the results and Elizabeth Frame introducing Kathy to the Crowd as the newly elected MAYOR!!!
It was a long and hectic and exciting evening! As we were on our way out
we ran into a local favorite from Kathy’s bipartisan Election commercial, Gene Van Landingham, (sorry Gene if I misspelled your name!!!)
We hope Kathy got a little down time to relax with Flash & Willie, aka “Kings of their Domain” before she got sworn in at a really nice ceremony at Gilcrease Museum here in Tulsa.
Aside from creating art (photos of Pastels for California Client included) I was interviewed by Peter D’Angelo on his Atlanta based Podcasts “Podcasting Mac Style” & “Peter’s Mac Tips”. Peter also gives great Podcasting advice!!!
