WINTER 2009-10

The Winter League is now five games old and Section One is led by the Bletchington A team who have had an excellent start to the season.

Royal Oak B lead Section Two by four points but they have played one more game than the other teams. A huge welcome to the Red Lion at Aston who have won their first game and are settling in very well.

The first round of the Men’s Individuals, the Open Pairs and the Les Hunt Trophy has been drawn and you can download them HERE

This week’s news.....

Welcome to the website of the Witney and District Bar Billiards Association. The league started in the 1930s and probably peaked in the 60s and 70s when most pubs in the area had a Bar Billiards table tucked away in the corner. It is sadly declining nationally now and this is reflected in our area with only eight teams left playing in the league.
