A Queen for a Day has taken special interest
in women who are hurting.


The ladies who suffered through the effect of Hurricane Katrina were honored with an uplifting program of celebration brought together to encourage, equip and empower them to continue on, and pursue their purpose. 

 

 A Queen for a Day was a one-day event provided by Hope for the Nation.


The event provided women who are living through hardships, natural disasters, abuse, illness or great loss an opportunity to be treated special for one day. These ladies felt like they truly matter and were give a reminder that they are loved and cared for. The women got away from the constant stress of their situation and found it easier to talk with other women who wanted to listen, even while holding your hand and getting their hair cut.  The event was filled with fun, food, fashion, facials, finance and real-life circumstances. THANKS TO ALL THAT HELPED!
