This is a site for people who are members of Film Societies in Wales, thinking of starting a Film Society, or interested in promoting independent cinema through voluntary effort.

Here in Wales, the Welsh Group of the BFFS promotes the voluntary exhibition of films, principally through viewing events and mutual support. We can offer:

We aim to organise two viewing events each year, with a one-day event in Spring, and a weekend event in Autumn. Recent viewing events have been organised in Aberyswyth, Cardigan, Colwyn Bay, Haverfordwest, Llanfyllin, and Pontardawe. These are great opportunities to see pre-released films and to meet others similarly interested in voluntary film exhibition.
