Photography is very important. It documents the world we live in, shows us the world we came from and provides us a view to where we may be heading. Anyone who has seen the photos of share croppers taken by Walker Evans or the distraught woman of the depression taken by Dorothea Lange knows the power of photography. That power does not rest in the past, or merely in the photos of famous people. It lies it the imagery that we all take and share, and the power we give it.
So have a look at my photos and let them speak to you, and if you like them, take a look a www.ameritography.org where you can find a different range of imagery along with the stories and history that go along with them.
