That's Martin Duncan behind the car with the coat over his shoulder. Here’s a more contemporary picture of him.

There are some great ideas here, and they claim some artistic turf that others will stumble on to later. The most interesting tune is “Pickup” (co-written with Duncan), where there are abrupt changes in the melodies and rhythm of the song. It's the same technique that McCartney and 10cc used on "Uncle Albert / Admiral Halsey" and "One Night in Paris".

The other standout of this tune is the portion in the middle where he uses a vocal tape loop (this was way before sampling...) of a man and woman' dialogue. Fripp did something similar to this four years later on the "Exposure" record when he concluded the album with a vocal loop of Eno.

I don't think I'll stick my neck out so far as to claim that he directly influenced any of these other people, but I will contend that his artistic ideas were at least as clever, and were on record first.

Other great tunes on this disc: Running Through the City ("...From nowhere to nowhere...") and “Oh, Weeping Will” ("He likes de taste of de salt as it falls from his eye...")

More songs from "Lotte's Elektrik Opera Film" are included, and Pickup is from "KinoTata." In the liner notes of the reissue, BP writes that “Enjoy It” is his favourite track. I'd actually found this album in various cut-out bins a few years ago, so you may have a chance of spotting an original vinyl copy of it someday.
