Here at last is the long awaited (by me) Greene & Greene inspired chest. It is a frame and panel design resting on an independent base -- the finger jointed part at the bottom. I made wooden hinges for it and a leather strap captured in small brackets prevents the top from opening too far. It’s probably my best-executed piece to date (I hope that’s not true in a couple of years).
