Well, after a very long day in Sacramento we were delighted to hear from Kyler’s oncologist and neurosurgeon that everything is looking good right now.  

 

This is a big milestone for us.  One year post treatment is a significant stop along the way to being declared ‘cancer-free’ by the doctors.  The next big milestone is five years.  It’s hard to believe that next month on April 25th it will be two years since diagnosis.  So much has changed in our lives since then.  We still have a lot to be thankful for.  

 

Their  concern right now is related to Thyroid production.  If it remains low it will have an effect on his cognitive ability (first time we heard that).  Now we have to decide how to approach the issue.  Your continued prayers for wisdom on how to approach will be very welcomed indeed.
