Dear friends,
We hope that you all are enjoying this Christmas season! I (Sandie) continue to be so thankful and blessed for all that God has done in the past year with our family!
Kyler continues to improve in his energy and over all health. We are very thankful that he is doing good in school and that his potential problems with processing/memory due to the radiation don’t seem to be showing up! We’ve been specifically praying about this and doing what we can through nutritional supplements. Thanks to all of you that have been praying for him!
Kyler loves doing anything that Kendrick does which means he is playing music, building legos, making up comics and video taping skits. They have spent many hours taping skits and posting them on youtube! Kyler just turned 8 on December 22nd and had a blast at his birthday slumber party with a few friends.
Kendrick is also doing great in school and loving 5th grade. His biggest passion is music and we have seen that he is very gifted in playing the drums. He loves Sunday nights at our house when we have about 10 friends from church come over and sit around playing music with their guitars, keyboard, drums, and... let’s not forget the coveted cowbell! This just feeds his soul and we are thankful to our friends for sharing their lives with him as well as all of us!
Darrell is done with training at USSA and has been working in the auto claims area. He is great with people on the phone and has learned so much in the past months. All of you that know Darrell realize that this kind of job is not his passion, but it is where God has him for this season to meet our family’s needs. Some days have been challenging, but most days, he is just so thankful to have a full-time job and gets excited to be able to pay our bills. He loves time with our family in the evenings as we play a lot of music, games and tell stories with the boys.
I have been juggling My Mosaic Memories, my job at Emmaus Church Community and family life. It’s a very full schedule that is a challenge to stay on top of. I get to work with 3 other people on staff at Emmaus who are wonderful and caring people! I had a very profitable season with craft fairs selling My Mosaic Memory collage items. God has been so faithful to provide for us. We were able to get a loan modification on our house as well.
We will be celebrating Christmas with just our family tomorrow. We are looking forward to some down time and just hanging out with the boys. On friday, the boys and I will go to Redding to celebrate with my mom, sister and the cousins.
We have some more pictures to share with you from the photo session we were given this past summer. The photographers are Dennis Urbiztondo (http://www.duphotography.com) and Michael Corsentino (http://wwwcphotographer.com). What an amazing gift to us!
We love you all and pray that the Prince of Peace reigns in your heart this Christmas season! We’d love to hear from you!
Love,
Sandie, Darrell, Kendrick and Kyler
