I hope this finds you in the most excellent of fettles. I come bearing

news. obviously. that's how this works.

so, here we go.

MELBOURNE INTERNATIONAL COMEDY FESTIVAL

I will be performing in melbourne during the festival, this is something

of a last minute arrangement but i am rather delighted by it. I will be

doing Work in Progress towards a new stand up show later in the year, there

may be a couple of other bits and pieces, but it will mainly be early stage

straight stand up work in progress.

These are Happening at the worlds best radio station, RRR (www.rrr.org.au)

in their Performance Space and are at 6.30pm (doors at 6) Sunday to

thursday between the 5th and the 23rd of april RRR is in East Brunswick, possibly

slightly out of the way, but the 96 tram terminates right outside it.

literally. right there.

Tickets for these shows are available only through the worlds best music

shop, Polyester Records (www.polyesterrecords.com) in both the city and

fitzroy shops. Tickets are A$12.50 (plus booking fee) the booking fee goes

to polyester, 2.50 goes to RRR and a tenner comes to me which means, that i

shouldnt lose too much money on being there. hoooooray.

Also there will be a seperate announcement to follow about three live radio shows

that i will be doing for RRR on wednesday night/thursday mornings. These

will be live shows, again from the performance space. With a live audience,

i will be introducing comedians from the comedy festival, musicians and

playing records and pre recorded bits and pieces. I have yet to book

anyone, but i think this could be really really good. Anyway, More Details

about that and how to attend to follow.

UNION CHAPEL (London)

Simon Pearce, the lovely man who runs sunday nights at the up the Creek

Comedy Club and is Invisible Dot, producing various excellent nights and

things, produces a show every month at the union chapel in london. I will

be doing an hour at the next show, it will be the material ive been working

up in melbourne and its on saturday may the 2nd. Jon Richardson, Pippa

Evans plus some one else. And me. the link is below.

THE REST OF THE YEAR

I'm pretty excited about the following things that will be emerging in the

coming months.

Regents Park Open Air Theatre

Theatre Show at the Traverse for the Edinburgh Festival

New stand up show at the Stand in the Edinburgh Festival

Release of Various Audio recordings (last three stand up shows and the

ballad of roger and grace to start with)

Touring various stuff in the uk.

66a church road in sydney, melbourne and possibly brisbane at the end of

the year.
