Welcome! I am Georgios Pyrgiotakis and this is my homepage. For all those people that know me for all those years, web pages, web design and web technologies, has been my great passion since 1995. Creating pages was always for me a great way to practice and update my skills and try to catch up with new technology. Furthermore you might all know my insistence with manually typing all the code and the text of my pages. I always thought that the front-end programs such FrontPage were adding a lot useless code to the page making it slower to download, and less slick.
This technology, however, gained a great deal of attention since now those programs can provide things that are almost impossible with manually typed code. Interestingly enough Apple released iWeb that made those options really hard to resist. And although I think that still the pages are bulkier, the benefits of this technology are so great that makes it very hard to resist. It will look like using typewriter and paper in a world of computers, looking interesting, funny, but most important outdated and graphically crazy and certainly not efficient. I summon to you, therefore, the new webpage that, will be hosted here for a few years, until a new technology knock on my door and ask me to abandon this technology and follow it.
