Renzo Sen is a multiple award-winning photographer. He has been recognized time and time again for his exquisite skill and talent in digital photographic imaging.

He captured the top prize for his “Simple Lotus Pond” entry in the Westgrove Ayala Photo Competition sponsored by Ayala Land Premier.

In a nationwide photo competition and exhibition on Philippine architecture called “Noon at Ngayon,” his “Binondo Church” entry was exhibited at the famed Alcove Gallery and was judged as one of the regional and national winners. This is a project of the Filipinas Heritage Library in partnership with Fundacion Santiago, Filipino Heritage Festival Inc., and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCAA).

He is one of the top 3 winners in the Hewlett-Packard & FPPF Photo Contest with the theme “Something Delicious.”

He is a finalist in the “Splendor of Manila” category for Canon’s first Shoot & Run Photo Competition.

Likewise, three of his photographic interpretations of Chinese garden nightscapes were showcased at the Heritage Park Photo Competition.

His first group photo exhibition “Pipho: Nature, Stills & People” was held at the Chamber, Intramuros, Manila. This is composed of dynamic, young and promising photographers.

Renzo trained in photography from the Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation (FPPF) and at the Philippine Center for Creative Imaging (PCCI). He recently became an Apple Certified Professional in Aperture.

His photographs have been published in magazines such as Celebrity Living, Hair Asia, Frame One, and I-Mag Photography.

Renzo’s award-winning visual, artistic and creative sense is a validation of his “clinical eye” that morphed and transcended into a serious photographer’s eye. He loves creating conceptual photographic images and enjoys working with different personalities to breathe life into his surreal and edgy photographs. He believes that dreams are his transcendental connection to another dimension.

Prior to his foray into professional photography, he undertook formal educational training in healthcare sciences and business management.

He completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of the East in 1994. He has a solid background in dental science with extensive relevant work experience in managed healthcare. He is a dean’s lister and graduated with highest honors (gold medalist) from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business, Ateneo-Regis MBA program in 2000. He is also currently completing his degree in Nursing.

Renzo’s diverse interest includes a passion for diving and underwater photography. He is a fish hobbyist and is into zen aqua-scaping. As a health buff, he’s into triathlons, duathlons and adventure racing. He participated in the Samsung-AXN and Puerto Carrera competitions in 2003 and 2004.
