If the fabulous Scarlett O’Hara were to walk the streets of Georgia today (that is if she isn’t a fictional character to begin with), she wouldn’t recognize it. The years have completely erased and transformed the landscape most familiar and most dear to her. The pace of life here may be still be just as slow compared to Scarlett’s time, and compared to to that of big cities such as New York, but the charms of the people from the South is definitely not lost. And yes, it more than makes up for the sleepy pace. The people are just as warm as ever. Let me share with you some snapshots of the very “still” life in Vidalia, Georgia.
