Sawadsee Khrap !
Hello and welcome to Kaizen Muay Thai. We have a full time mixed martial arts academy in Edinburgh. Headhunters MMA Academy was opened in 2008 to cater for our ever growing number of Martial Arts students in the capital. We have classes in Thai Boxing, Muay Thai, MMA and Ladies only classes right in the heart of Edinburgh.
My names Alex and I am 30 years old and as you have guessed, I am a Martial Artist. This was probably caused by my fixation with martial arts movies when i grew up. Such as when i watched my first Bruce Lee movie what a buzz it gave me and it helped send me on my way into the martial world.
This site will introduce you to our Kaizen Muay Thai Boxing club, give you information about our full time Headhunters Martial Arts academy in Edinburgh. Where we offer classes in both Muay Thai and MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). Later on as the site develops i will introduce training tips, articles and a news section for you nosey people.
To my current students the site give you a little chance to express yourselves if you have got some cool footage you want put online just send it to me.
I am completely open minded about martial arts and all have there forte and own areas of specialism whether it be the most effective strikes to what is the best style for submitting an opponent.
But hey it doesn’t have to be all violence, when was the last time you watched two artists perform some Capoeira to some drum fuelled music, wow beautiful stuff. If it makes you tick then go for it. It is great to try something different and see things take shape, something I like to do a lot of.
Ok I have started lets see if my ripple covers the whole pond. Have a good search through the site and don’t be afraid to get in touch. The name Kaizen Muay Thai derives from a Japanese word and basically means to make constant and never ending improvements. That’s what I hope we can all do.
Chock Dee. (good luck)
