This is a conversation between my friend Steve and I for his youth ministry class at Belmont. We talk about how I got into all this, some of the metaphors we’re working from in practicing our more “missional” type of youth ministry and what advise I’d give to his class.

Here is another seminar I did at the Emergent Mainline/s conference last week in Decatur. This one is with Tony Jones and we had a good time. I had put together a slide show that Tony had not seen before we started so the “flying by the seat your pants” vibe of the conversation was well earned.

This is a speaking engagement I did for a youth ministry event called YouthQuake. It’s me teaching a bunch of kids the Jesus Prayer in this big auditorium (see photo). There is a small gap in the audio where we actually practice the prayer.  It’s a little abrupt but it shouldn’t throw you.
