july- STAY COOL! i’m just drinking that lemonade and trying to stay in the shade! i’m doing all my weeding, watering, deadheading and staking, in the early hours of the morning! particularly the watering. don’t want any fungus, gnats or slugs to take advantage of the overnight dampness so water in the morning. i’m also trying to fight those darn gophers! hot weather makes them more active.
