They did some shopping and visited the lighting of the big Christmas tree in Daley Center Plaza. The following day while on a train, a passenger stopped them and asked them if they realized their picture was in the Chicago Sun-Times - a big picture taking up half of the fifth page. So much for their anonymous trip to Chicago!

With a tip of the hat to the Mrs. Lynch, who was inspired by her native Jamaica’s famous bobsled team, Mr. Dave Price led his 6th grade boys class to test their skills and drive their homemade go-carts down the Maharishi School’s hay-lined drive.

The boys showed great creativity and skill under perfect fall driving conditions. Thanks to Mr. Price for making this a great learning experience and carrying on the tradition, John Huff for the hay bales and overall support and Julia Cai (Nathanial Zhu’s mom) for the edited video.
