In addition the State Champion N&L team, West Holt FFA had 7 other teams finish in the top 10. Including: 2nd place in Ag Sales (Amelia Shane, Caleb Jochem, Alyssa Claussen, Adam Flannery) 2nd place Agronomy (Tad Judge, Matt Marcellus, Matt Rentschler, Todd Frickel) 3rd place Agriscience (Mackenzie Gibbens, Kalie Friedel, Kent Frickel, Emily Miksch) 5th place Farm Management (Jon Gotschall, Aaron Fritz, Alyssa Claussen, Casey Seger) 6th place Natural Resources (Jason Schaaf, Matt Rentschler, Haley Baake, Nick Meusch) 7th place Jr Livestock Judging (Trevor Butterfield, Kent Olson, Kent Frickel, Ben Owens) 10th place Sr Livestock Judging (Amelia Shane, Jon Gotschall, Caleb Jochem, Laura Kohle) In addition to great team finishes West Holt had 2 individual State Champions! West Holt FFA Wins 2008 State Nursery & Landscape

    For the 3rd year in a row West Holt FFA won the State N&L Career Develop Event! Team members were  (L-R) Kelly Kohle (3rd), Talia Norton (State Champion), Cary Ryan (2nd), and Ashton Ohde (5th). The team qualified to represent Nebraska at the 2008 National Nursery & Landscape CDE.
