A few years ago I took some tiny steps into the world of blogging. My blog was called Dan Rants and included my thoughts and observations on music and photography. Entries were few and far between. Before long enough dust had settled that I was reluctant to try and unearth that particular site, so it lay, dormant.

In the in between, I posted a whole bunch of photos, but those efforts have been somewhat random and disconnected, as well as sporadic.

Which brings us to here. And now.

With the help of some newer software, I hope to post content a bit more cohesive, and more consistently. You can think of this as Dan 2.0. In the coming days, weeks and months, there’s bound to be a lot of new pages, and quite a bit of experimentation in format and navigation.

I’d be thrilled if you’d be a part of the evolution. Check out my pages, leave your comments, and come back often. After all, if you’re not looking, who am I doing this for?

Let the ranting begin…
