This is a photo of a wonderful tree that grows near the sugar mill outside Kahului, Maui. It was dawn and I was actually on my way to the Viewpoints Gallery. I set the camera at a slow shutter speed and actually moved the camera vertically as I shot. The result was a very painterly.... and magical... photograph.
