Papohaku Beach on Molokai. A large dark storm was moving out to sea and the sun was now bathing the incoming waves in intense silver light. I chose a slow shutter speed and panned the camera with the incoming wave. This accounts for the blurred painterly background and the etched lines on the wave’s face.
