Welcome to the website of Derek Washington. Here you will find my music and resources associated with our work in pastoral care for missionaries with Barnabas International. I hope you will glean a bit of our passion for missionary care, that you will want to know more about it, and the strategic value it has in drawing the world closer to the heart of God.

You will also find a special link on each page titled Why Pastoral Care? This section describes events in a missionary’s life, stressors of cross-cultural transitions, and why this area of ministry is so important. Please do not leave the site without visiting it.

We find virtue in coming alongside valiant hearts in need of encouragement. My music is a part of that. Take a moment. Come inside. Listen. Be encouraged yourself.http://www.barnabas.orghttp://www.barnabas.orgWhy_Pastoral_Care.htmlWhy_Pastoral_Care.htmlshapeimage_1_link_0shapeimage_1_link_1shapeimage_1_link_2shapeimage_1_link_3
Welcome
You will find links above to my original music and information about our work. You will find out more about our passion through both the Profile link and the Missionary Care link. You will find a link to a number of quality resources we have found helpful in providing missionary care. And there is an invitation to partner both financially and in prayer with our work, should we find favor in your heart.
As Pastors to Missionaries with Barnabas International, we have been invited to serve the missionaries of the South American Missionary Society (SAMS), and long-term SOMA missionaries (Sharing of Ministries Abroad). We also assist in caring for missionaries our supporting churches send out.http://www.barnabas.orghttp://samsusa.org/http://www.somausa.org/shapeimage_3_link_0shapeimage_3_link_1shapeimage_3_link_2
