Someone at Target knows how to make money.

We stopped in for just a few essentials, grabbed what we needed and made our way to the checkout lanes in three minutes flat. We’d avoided making a single frivolous purchase, which is difficult to do in a place with as much pointless crap as Target. But as I stood there in line, I glanced to my right and saw the most enticing promotional display of all-time.

Mountainous heaps of Monster Cereal. Count Chocula, Boo Berry and Franken Berry were on sale and, within seconds, in my shopping cart.

I’ve been dining with these classic “cereal killers” every morning since, and their deliciously ghoulish tastes have piqued my curiosity. Plenty of personal reflection enabled me to crown Boo Berry as my favorite, but I’d like to know your opinion, too. Which is your favorite of the three?

Think about it, visit my blog and vote in the poll I’m running there.

I’ve written two fantastic reviews in the last week or so. Maybe it’s the Boo Berry, but my recent work has been some of the best I’ve done in a long time. The writing is fantastic, and they’re really entertaining reads. If you’re interested in checking them out, they’re both in the portfolio and featured on the right—reviews of WET and Dead Space: Extraction.

Work has piled up lately, so I have lots of stuff to catch up on. Expect reviews of Spore Hero, SimAnimals Africa and more coming soon.

But in the meantime, definitely check out my featured pieces.http://derekb2323.wordpress.com/2009/11/03/poll-whats-your-favorite-monster-cereal/shapeimage_6_link_0
