May 8/09 Cradle Day is set for tomorrow beginning at 8 AM. Walter will handle the moving around the club grounds with his tractor and Bernard will unload and 'arrange' at the storage end with his tractor. You should be there to assist with your cradles or have made arrangements with others.

May 3/09 Cruising Page has been added including a link to U.S. Customs & Border protection to purchase you annual cruising permit for American waters (if your boat > 30 feet). Please feel free to send me information about cruising and I will add or link it through this page.

April 17/09 Additions to Buy&Sell, Racing plus New Page - Docks&Launch
April 7/09 Two new pages have been added to the site - Docks 09 2nd well and Pink Ribbon. Docks are for Full Members who may wish a 2nd well. Pink Ribbon is a page showing how club members can show a visible support for cancer research.
March 23/09 A Boat Insurance form has been added to the Members page to replace what has previously been required by the Race and Dock committees. All information will now be in the hands of the club’s secretary and no one except the secretary will have access to this file. Please resubmit your insurance information in this new area. Additional information (ie personal liability limit, expiry date) has also been added. Questions? Contact Darlene Priestly.

Mar 31/08 This is hard to believe. Michigan has had the coldest winter in decades. Water expands to freeze, and at Mackinaw City the water in Lake Huron below the surface ice was supercooled. It expanded to break through the surface ice and froze intothis incredible wave. I've seen pictures of this wave phenomena in Antarctica, but in Michigan? Yes, it's been quite a winter!(submitted by Dave Prince)
