Three great days on the Mont Blanc Massif, France.  Henk van Beijeren and I had a fantastic and exhausting time. The standard route to Refuge Conscrits is not available in summer anymore. Global warming has made the route impossible - the glacier below Coscrits is a crevas and serac field. So, its ladders instead. Early October 2007. (Canon 40D and 17-85mm 1:4 - 5.6 Canon lens)
