The first real snow of the season fell 6 days before these photos were taken. So on May 26 2007 Henk van Beijeren & I headed up towards the Crags. As we got higher there was quite a lot of hard ice to negotiate. Touring crampons were very useful on the steeper slopes. It was a perfect day with no wind and no clouds. Enjoy!
