Approximately 9km loop. Start from Dead Horse Gap on the Alpine Way, head north west to the Main Range just east of South Ramshead; then north east past Ramshead to just south of North Ramshead on the Ramshead Plateau; by paralleling Bogong Ck descend to the Cascade Creek carpark; finally walk up the Alpine Way to Dead Horse gap.
