Thank you for your interest in my art. I have been drawing and painting all my life and in the last 7 years I have focused on watercolor portraits and portraits done in metal. It all started one day when I went to bring in one of my friends horses. The pose, light and look in his eye inspired me with a burning desire to paint that moment in time... That was the beginning of my portrait work. One painting led to another and to another. I have been working at a show barn in Michigan for the last 8 years which has allowed me to be in contact with many many beautiful warmbloods and thoroughbreds. Over the years, I have grown to appreciate the delicate beauty and quiet strength of many magnificent animals.
