For 50 years, Vaudeville was the pre-eminent entertainment form in the nation. Through lively narration, classical comedy, juggling, and music, this colorful era is brought to life for a new generation, right in your school. The presentation is adapted for each age group to maximize age-appropriate cognitive skills; thus, it is available to the widest audience possible.

...Discovery:  The Wow Show (K-2)
The joy of discovery-in-education is distilled through the eyes of an exuberant clown, an innocent who relies upon his own (admittedly limited) wits and the help of the audience to complete his list of tasks. He enters the theater, explores his environment, and makes a mess of things as he tells the story of a Prince, a Witch, and a Princess who loves broccoli.

...The Renaissance: 
    Shakespeare and the Commedia dell'Arte (5-12)

Traditional Italian Theater, lecture-demonstration. Impresario Bruno Machiavelli loses his actors, so he has to call upon the audience to to become the new members of his troupe, “La Commedia Sprezzatura”. He trains them in this style of mask theater, and leads his volunteers through a Romeo-and-Juliet-style scenario, with a happy ending. This show packs 400 years of theater history and 15 years of artistic training into 40 minutes. Suitable for all audiences, but participants should be at least 10 yrs. old, for the masks to fit during the show.
